1. Overview
X2Y AV Ultimate is a Windows antivirus utility providing:

- •Minimal system footprint and compatibility with Windows 10/11
2. Installation
2.1 System Requirements

✅ Note: These codes are standard Windows Installer codes and will be returned automatically by your EXE/MSI installer. No custom codes are needed unless you modify your installer to explicitly define them.
3. Scanning & Quarantine
Full Scan
All public folders (Downloads, Desktop, Documents).
Custom Scan
User-selected files/folders.
Quarantine Location
%LOCALAPPDATA%\X2YAVUltimate\Quarantine
Restore or permanently delete files from quarantine.
Data Collected During Scans
- • File path, name, size, type
- • MD5/SHA-256 hash
- • Detection status (clean, suspicious, infected)
Files are never uploaded unless explicitly submitted by the user.
4. Real-Time Protection
Service: X2YAVService
- • Runs in background monitoring new/modified files
- • Automatic signature updates via HTTPS
- • Optional cloud checks send only hashes and metadata, never full files

6. Testing Notes for Certification
Service & Driver
X2YAVService starts automatically after installation.
Real-Time Scan Test
Place an EICAR test file in Downloads/Desktop → verify quarantine triggers.
Full Scan Test
Scan C:\Users\<username>\ → verify detection.
Cloud Threat Test
Enable cloud checks in Settings → observe metadata-only upload.
Quarantine Test
Restore or permanently delete quarantined files.
